But since we have been to the moon and have traveled in space we can now see how beauiful space truly is. For example, in the year 1969 was the first time a man has stepped foot on the moon. The "space age" was a big influence on many works of art, for instance, many t.v. shows and movies were already made about space. Such as, "Star Trek" and "Man In The Moon" who were maybe some of the biggest films and it influenced a new beginning to the modern era of Space.
Some of the old scientific fictional movies have given a blueprint which influenced some of the movies now in teh modern era. Space has inspired many people in creating art and the mystery of space, but one man who loved the thought of space was Alan Bean. He was the 4th man to ever step on the moon and his perception of space is now he wants to recreate the moon through art. When he resigned after 18 years of being an astronaut he wanted to pursue his dream of painting and he said his decision was based on the fact that he was fortunate enough to visit worlds and see sights no artist's eye, past or present, has ever viewed firsthand and he hoped to express these experiences through the medium of art.
In conclusion, this was one of my favorite subjects because it really shows us that space is an art and a mystery all captured in one. To the people that have seen space from the moon and outside of earth, they truly know what art is and it is definately one thing I want to do if I can is to go to space and see the earth from space.
